An appropriate skin care regimen is extremely important. The skin should be protected against changing weather conditions and UV radiation as much as possible. Hot baths and face cleansing with chlorinated water are not recommended. Spicy and very hot food as well as alcohol should be eliminated from your diet.

It is also very important to use appropriate cosmetic products which do not degrease your skin and are enriched with appropriate active ingredients with capillary constricting and strengthening effect (e.g. rutin), healing-promoting effect (e.g. vitamin K) as well as with soothing effect (e.g. allantoin and kava-kava).
